2026-2027 Young Singers Competition Info — Submission deadline is September 12, 2026.

We are looking forward to our Seventh Annual Young Singers Competition, which will be held during the fall of 2026. A total of $2000 in scholarships will be awarded.

High school Juniors and Seniors who reside in and attend high school in the Phoenix Metropolitan Area during the 2026-2027 school year are eligible and encouraged to apply.

The application will consist of the following:

1. A video that showcases the student’s talent. Applicants may select a Classical or Broadway piece to perform.

2. An Application of Intent, with parental consent for applicants under 18, signed by a parent/guardian.

3. A publicity headshot in .JPG format

Submission deadline is September 12, 2026.

Finals for our Young Singers Competition will take place at Shepherd of the Hills Methodist Church, 13658 W. Meeker Blvd., Sun City West, on Saturday, September 26, 2026.

FUNDING: These competitions are funded solely through the generous donations of our audience. Donation jars and envelopes are available at all concerts for this purpose. Checks may be made out to The West Valley Chorale, P.O. Box 9415, Surprise, AZ 85374. The West Valley Chorale is an Arizona 501(c)(3) nonprofit performing arts organization. Donations are tax-exempt to the extent allowed by law.
